The Minnesota Business Valuation Group, LLC, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Olsen Thielen & Co., Ltd., a St. Paul, Minnesota regional certified public accounting firm. Olsen Thielen has approximately 130 employees, of which 19 persons are principals. The employees consist of auditors, tax professionals, consultants, and support staff for administration, information technology, filing, etc.
The Principals, Chairman, and President of Olsen Thielen have given priority to supporting and developing the growth of MBVG. As such, the Firm has made all of its resources available to MBVG. The 19 governing principals have likewise given their support. Therefore, MBVG is blessed with a seasoned contingent of accounting professionals to accomodate the valuation firm growth.

Thomas Farm is Chairman of Olsen Thielen & Co., Ltd. and is a Principal in the Consulting Department of the Olsen Thielen St. Paul office. He is the Olsen Thielen Principal-in-Charge of the Telecommunications Management Advisory Services Consulting Group. Farm has more than 37 years in public accounting specializing in the Telecommunications Industry. He joined Olsen Thielen in 1971. In supporting MBVG, Farm’s knowledge, skill, and experience are relied upon when appraising telephone and telecommunications companies, especially in regard to regulatory matters.

Robert Koch is a Principal in the Audit and Accounting Department of Olsen Thielen's St. Paul office. He has 13 years of experience in accounting, auditing and consulting. Koch specializes in the telecommunications, construction, manufacturing industries, and not-for-profit organizations. Rob joined Olsen Thielen in 1996. In supporting MBVG, Koch lends his knowledge of auditing multiple telephone companies.

Alan Holz is Manager of Human Resources for Olsen Thielen & Co., Ltd. He also works with numerous clients, facilitating strategic planning. Holz is on OT Committees for continuing education, communications, and human resources.
In the community, he is active in the Twin Cities Human Resources Association (TCHRA), the Human Resources Professionals of Minnesota (HRPMN), the St. Paul Chamber of Commerce, and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
For MBVG, Holz directs strategic planning.
