Mathew (Matt) Hawthorne is an industry analyst providing research and analysis of industry and economic trends for corporate financial consultants, business brokers, and business valuation analysts. He has more than 10 years experience as a research analyst and has produced hundreds of industry reports covering a broad spectrum of industries from advertising to zinc.
Matt prides himself on working with the valuation analyst and / or strategic planner to provide accurate, strategic and defensible information and analysis. Matt attended the University of California at Santa Cruz, and he has traveled extensively. Matt speaks fluent Spanish and has working knowledge of several other romance languages. Prior to his career as an industry analyst, Matt worked and raced on sailing yachts, including numerous transatlantic deliveries as navigator, and he designed and edited a sailing publication in the Caribbean. Matt currently navigates the world of information from his office in Northern Minnesota, where he has lived for the past 8 years.
