(Ron) Bruzek has conducted asset appraisals for more than 25 years. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser in the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), where he is certified in both real property/urban and machinery and equipment. Ron is also a member of the Commercial Panel of Arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association.
Ron is a principal of Asset Valuations, Inc. (AVI). Before AVI, Ron worked 24 years as an appraiser/analyst for Marshall & Stevens, a national appraisal company. At Marshall he specialized in real estate, construction, and machinery & equipment valuations.
Ron is a State Certified General Real Property Appraiser in Minnesota (4001448) and has held licenses in several other states. Most states now offer temporary licenses, therefore, he has elected to use temporary licenses for those situations. Ron has been active in the appraisal profession since 1976. He has prepared appraisals of land, buildings, and machinery and equipment, and he has prepared valuations of all types of generic and unique industrial and commercial properties.
Ron has prepared analysis for purposes of sale/purchase, insurance, fair rental, financing, ad valorem taxes, condemnation, feasibility, purchase price allocation, property records, fiduciary review, sale/leaseback structuring and business planning. He has also appeared as an expert witness for judicial valuation and has written/published valuation articles. Ron is an instructor of real estate appraisal classes for continuing education programs. He holds a B.A. degree in mathematics from the University of Minnesota, Morris.
